The SEIGAIHA(青海波) pattern consists of overlapping concentric circles that form fan-shaped waves. This elegant geometric design represents the endless, calm ripples of the vast ocean and has been cherished in Japan for over a thousand years.

Origin of the Name
The name "SEIGAIHA" literally translates to "Blue Ocean Waves." It comes from a traditional court dance and music piece called SEIGAIHA from the Heian period (around 1000 years ago). The dancers performed in magnificent costumes adorned with this specific wave pattern, which solidified the name in Japanese culture.
